Last Year's New Year.
I was on holiday and everything worked normally. I lived in a home with a warm family. I dated someone. I had dreams and spirits to reach it. I made a yearly wishlist and I was ready to catch them all. I was wishing to continue my study in architecture major. I was hesitate if I could pass all the exams (I got 4.00 for math and wonder if I can graduate with that score) and move to university.
and 2012 was a big hit.
May 2012, I graduated from highschool--even with bad scores for math--nicely. I was studying for university test.
June 2012, my 18th birthday. university entrance test and I don't think I did it right.
July 2012, I was accepted at Universitas Brawijaya Malang, majoring in architecture (YAY!)
and that was how my life changed.
I've never been in Malang. it was my first time visiting Malang, and it was not even for holiday. together with papa, I went to Malang by train. and it took over 15 hours long to finally reach Malang railway station. I'm sorry to papa to make him sit for so long. but to be honest, I was between nervous and excited to see what kind of city, university, friends, I'd have.
first time I saw Malang, it's beautiful. it was freezing cold and I love it.
so does my uni which has a wonderful-very close view of mountains!
but at that time I did not get to meet any soon-to-be architecture students. it was just a short time trip to manage my university thingy anyway.
September 2012, I moved to Malang. it was hard at first. I lived in a home with people that I don't even know, alone. without family, without friends. but still I was so excited because it was my very first experience. but life wasn't tha easy.
October, November, December; still adapting with my new environment. I seldom sleep at night because my college tasks didn't let me to. going out to buy midnight snacks, ice cream sometimes (well yes, I killed my own weight-_-)
got closer to friends in architecture.
Life's going, everybody's changing, but we have to keep moving forward. Lets be thankful for every little things that happened in 2012.
